Shire Hourse and Carriage Museum, Treskillard
Just up the lane from Kitty's Korner, turn right at the countryman pub and then take the first left. You can see heavy hourses, a dispaly of carriages and there is also a forge on this working farm.
 
Tate St Ives and The Barbara Hepworth Museum
The Tate St Ives is a museum of contemporary and modern art overlooking the beach at St Ives. There are reular exhibitions. In my personal opinion the best thing about it is the view from the rooftop cafe! http://www.tate.org.uk/stives/
 
A short walk away is the Barbara Hepworth Museum and sculpture garden. This is also operated by 'The Tate' and a joint entry ticket can be bought.

Penlee House  Museum and Gallery, Penzance
While the Muesum in Penlee House is very interesting it is overshadowed by the magnificent gallery that has one of the finest collections of work from the post-impressionist cornish artists.
 
This is the place to go if you want to see great works from the likes of the Newlyn School and St Ives Artists
 
Newlyn Art Gallery

National Maritime Muesum, Falmouth
The National Maritime Museum is located on the waterfront at Falmouth and celebrates the our sea-going heritage
 
Falmouth Art Gallery

Located in the Cornish Capital, the Royal Cornwall Museum is well worth a visit. There are regular exhibitions and activities
 
Wireless and Telegraphy Museum, Porthcurno
The old cable station which once linked Britain by telegraph cable under the sea to the fathest points of the world has been transformed into a museum of Telegraphy. This fascinating home of the Victorian Internet offers a history of telecommunications, and visits to the wartime control bunker.
 
Wayside Museum, Zennor
The wayside museum is a documents the day to day life of the cornish countryside. Exhibits include: Waterwheels from Cornish mining industry Cobblers shop with exhibition on the History of Wayside Mill Building, with original machinery and millstones and collection of early agricultural implements and the Blacksmiths Forge Domestic implements People of past Zennor 18th century kitchen
 
Geevor Mining Museum
Geevor Mine at Pendeen is a modern mine and closed in 1990. Much of the mine including the Miners Dry and some of the mineral processing plant has been preserved as it was on the day the mine closed. Guided tours, includng underground tours are available. The are lots of activities for children and a good cafe with stunning views.

King Edward Mine Museum, Troon, Camborne

After King Edward mine closed it was used for a long time as a training facility for the Camborne School of Mines. Now it has been preserved as a museum by the Trevithick Trust.
