Godolphin House and Gardens (NT)
Recently aquired by the national trust and in the process of being renovated, Godolphin House is 5 miles north-west of Helston, between Townshend and Godolphin Cross. The house and gardens date from the 15th Century.

St Michaels Mount (NT) St Michaels Mount is an island, joined to the mainland at Marazion Nr Penzance by a causeway at low tide. The is the home of the St Aubyn family and has a 12th centrury church and castle.

Trerice House (NT) Trerice is one of the smaller National Trust properties and can be found near Kestle Mill, Nr Newquay. It is an Elizabethan E shaped building and the garden contains orchards and a collection of historic lawn-mowers.

Trevarno Gardens
Between Camborne and Helston is Trevarno. Nice Gardens and woodland walks with abundant peacocks on the lawn. The lake and boathouse is very photogenic. Reindeer heard, Railway restoration project. National collection of daffodils, and Museum of gardening. Events throughout the year. There is also an adventure playground for the kids.
